Ahmed Urabi ([ˈæħmæd ʕoˈɾɑːbi]; Arabic: أحمد عرابي; 31 March 1841 – 21 September 1911), also known as Ahmed Ourabi or Orabi Pasha, was an Egyptian military officer.
Foi liderada e nomeada pelo célebre coronel Ahmed Urabi, que procurou depor o Quediva Teufique Paxá e acabar com a influência Britânica e Francesa no país.
Iniciada como um levante militar, a Revolta Urabi conseguiu amplo apoio da população nativa do Egito, tendo como principal líder Ahmadi Urabi, cujo sobrenome inspirou a denominação da revolta. No final do século XIX, o Egito encontrava-se sob domínio administrativo do Império Turco-Otomano.
