James Hamilton, 2.º Duque de Abercorn KG, CB, PC ( 24 de agosto de 1838 — 3 de janeiro de 1913) foi um nobre e diplomata britânico. Ele era o filho mais velho de James Hamilton, 1.º Duque de Abercorn e de sua esposa, Lady Louisa Russell.

Lord Hamilton was born on 24 August 1838, the eldest son of James Hamilton, second marquess and later first duke of Abercorn (1811–1885), and his wife Lady Louisa Jane Russell (1812–1905), second daughter of John Russell, sixth duke of Bedford. James Albert Edward Hamilton, 3rd Duke of Abercorn KG KP PC (30 November 1869 – 12 September 1953), styled Marquess of Hamilton between 1885 and 1913, was a British peer and Unionist politician. He was the first Governor of Northern Ireland, a post he held between 1922 and 1945.
