Admiral Vere Beauclerk, 1st Baron Vere (14 July 1699 – 21 October 1781), known as Lord Vere Beauclerk until 1750, was a Royal Navy officer, British peer and politician who sat in the House of Commons for 24 years from 1726 to 1750.

The Duke served in William Gladstone's government as Captain of the Yeomen of the Guard between 1868 and 1874.

Lord Vere Beauclerk entered the navy about 1713, 1 serving in the Mediterranean 1722-7, and again under Sir Charles Wager in 1731. Succeeding his brother, the 2nd Duke of St. Albans, at Windsor in 1726, he consistently voted with the Government.
The Duke of Saint Albans's full title is His Grace the Duke of Saint Albans. His name is Murray de Vere Beauclerk, and he was excluded from the House of Lords on 11 November 1999.
