Robert Miller Patton (July 10, 1809 – February 28, 1885) was an American politician who served as the 20th governor of the Alabama from 1865 to 1868. He was born July 10, 1809, in Russell County, Virginia.

Robert M. Patton (1809-1885) was Alabama's 20th governor (1865-67), taking office during the early months of Reconstruction. He was successful in reducing the state's deficit and worked cooperatively with the Freedmen's Bureau following the Civil War.
