21 de abr. de 2023 · Jon Oliva, líder do Savatage, diz que o próximo disco será o melhor da banda e provavelmente o último. O álbum, com participação de Zak Stevens, Al Pitrelli e Jane Mangini, terá título provisório de 'Curtain Call'.
8 de abr. de 2023 · Em 2015, o festival Wacken Open Air conseguiu ressuscitar o Savatage ao menos por uma noite e aquele show deixou todos os fãs muito entusiasmados para um possível retorno. Os próprios músicos ficaram surpresos com a recepção grandiosa da banda e se empolgaram fazendo promessas que um retorno ocorreria.
