Uiterlijk. verbergen. Joost Zweegers ( Sittard, 1 april 1971 ), beter bekend onder zijn artiestennaam Novastar, is een in België wonend Nederlands singer-songwriter . Biografie. Zweegers werd geboren in Sittard en woonde korte tijd in Susteren.
Novastar is a Belgian rock band led by Dutch-born singer-songwriter and guitarist/pianist Joost Zweegers. They are known for their emotional ballads, and the high pitch of Zweegers's voice. Zweegers has also released solo material under the name Novastar.
The new Novastar album "The Best Is Yet To Come" has been released February 16th, 2024. A unique newly recorded greatest hits collection with a brand new song as an extra.The album comes with a live tour, with concerts in both Belgium & The Netherlands. Novastar will get a special UK touch for the occasion.
