Magic Hunter (Hungarian: Bűvös vadász, German: Freischütz) is a 1994 Hungarian-Swiss-French fantasy film written and directed by Ildikó Enyedi and loosely inspired to the opera Der Freischütz. The film was entered into the main competition at the 51st edition of the Venice Film Festival.
Ildikó also made the features Magic Hunter (1994, 18th Mostra), Simon, the Magician (1999) and On Body and Soul (2017), winner of Critics and the Ecumenical Jury prizes and the Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival.
