Sinopse. A idosa Grace Quigley (Katharine Hepburn) vive sozinha em New York e está se aproximando do final de sua vida. Um belo dia, ela descobre um assassino, Seymour Flint (Nick Nolte), e resolve contratá-lo para matá-la. Grace convence-o também a realizar outros assassinatos com pessoas cansadas da vida.
Nick Nolte. When an aging but spry Grace Quigley (Katharine Hepburn) accidentally witnesses the contract killing of her lousy landlord, she is both shocked and pleased. She hides in the back seat of a nearby Cadillac. The killer, Seymour Flint (Nick Nolte) owns the car! Making his getaway, he throws the pistol into the back seat.
