Sweetwater is a 1988 Norwegian science-fiction thriller film directed by Lasse Glomm. It is about the struggle to survive in an anarchic vision of the future, and it is based on the novels Uår. Aftenlandet and Uår. Sweetwater by Knut Faldbakken. The books were published in 1974 and 1976.
Sinopse. A ação se passa em uma civilização anarquista futura sombria após um grande acidente ou guerra. Um jovem, Allan, decide se mudar da cidade enquanto sua família mora. Ele leva sua esposa, Lisa, e o filho para um grande depósito de lixo localizado fora da cidade.
