Created by Doctor Who writers, Doomwatch is an ecological watchdog group, with the film featuring the series' regulars - but focusing on a new face (Ian Bannen). The plot deals with Bannon investigating an oil tanker spill, only to find the remote fishing village he is staying at to be of more pressing concern.
