Cover Me Babe is a 1970 drama film about a young filmmaker who is hypercritical about everything including his own work. Almost really doesn't care to get a studio contract. The film was directed by Noel Black, and stars Robert Forster and Sondra Locke.

Sam Waterston, relaxed as ever, plays Forster's cameraman and Floyd Mutrux – director of the underrated AMERICAN HOT WAX, among others – a gay student whom Forster attempts to convert to digging chicks by forcing him to caress Benton's naked breasts.
