Although a November 1953 Hollywood Reporter news item states that the film's original treatment was written by Paul Schneider and William Sackheim, only Schneider receives onscreen credit for the story. According to the Daily Variety review, the film was shot at Pike's Peak in the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
