The Son of the Red Corsair (Italian: Il figlio del corsaro rosso) is a 1959 Italian historical adventure film written and directed by Primo Zeglio and starring Lex Barker, Sylvia Lopez and Vira Silenti. It is based on the novel with the same name by Emilio Salgari.
O Filho do Corsário Vermelho é um filme italiano de aventura histórica de 1959, escrito e dirigido por Primo Zeglio e estrelado por Lex Barker, Sylvia Lopez e Vira Silenti. É baseado no romance homônimo de Emilio Salgari. A história já havia sido transformada em um filme de 1943, O Filho do Corsário Vermelho.
Lex Barker is a swashbuckling pirate with a code of honor and dashing good looks. He discovers his long-lost sister, Neala (Vira Silenti), thought dead, lives and unknown to her, is also heir to a native South American throne. The Panamanian Governor plans to either kill and replace her or marry her to get control of the province himself.

It is based on the novel with the same name by Emilio Salgari. The story had previously been made into a 1943 film The Son of the Red Corsair.
