Plot. The film opens in the Los Angeles basement of the United Defenders (UD), a fascist organization for veterans. Fred Stalk and another goon are interrogating Joe Donahue, who wants to leave the group now that he has discovered it is a scam. Stalk kills Donahue. UD leader True Dawson is just concluding a meeting.
Violence: Directed by Jack Bernhard. With Nancy Coleman, Michael O'Shea, Sheldon Leonard, Peter Whitney. Undercover reporter Ann Mason infiltrates a neo-fascist group that recruits disgruntled veterans, but amnesia prevents her from exposing them.

According to mid-December 1946 Hollywood Reporter news item, the film's script was being revised to include the "Columbians of Atlanta and its expose by a girl agent." Columbians, Inc. was an Atlanta-based "hate organization," whose declared goal was the deportation of blacks to Africa and the forced assimilation of Jews with other races or their deportation.

Fred Stalk, one of Dawson's enforcers, suspects her motives, but lack of evidence and his attraction to her keeps him from acting against her. While en route to break her exposé, Ann's taxi is pursued by government agent Steve Fuller, and the resultant crash leaves her with a concussion and loss of memory.
