Hans Pfitzner (1869-1949) was a German composer, conductor and polemicist who wrote the post-Romantic opera Palestrina. He was a self-described anti-modernist and a critic of the Nazis, but also a friend of Bruno Walter and Alma Moodie.

Hans Pfitzner war ein deutscher Komponist, Dirigent und Autor, der vor allem für seine Oper Palestrina bekannt ist. Er war auch politisch aktiv und vertrat antisemitische Ansichten, die ihn in der NS-Zeit in Ungnade fielen.
