Arthur Robert Peter Baden-Powell, 2nd Baron Baden-Powell, FRSA (known as Peter; 30 October 1913 – 9 December 1962) was the son of Lieutenant-General Robert Baden-Powell, 1st Baron Baden-Powell, the founder of Scouting, and Olave St. Clair Soames.

Robert Stephenson Smyth Baden-Powell, o Barão de Gilwell (Londres, 22 de fevereiro de 1857 – Nieri, 8 de janeiro de 1941) foi um tenente-general do Exército Britânico, fundador do escotismo e do Movimento Bandeirante (especifico para meninas) juntamente com sua irmã Agnes Baden-Powell e a esposa Olave Baden-Powell em 1909.
Foi o fundador do escotismo (os “Boy Scouts”). Chegou a ser um herói nacional pelo seu labor na defesa militar de Mafekling, na África do Sul, durante a guerra contra os “Boers”, entre 1899 e 1902. A sua vida desenvolve-se em duas fases claramente diferenciadas.
