Joseph Warren Robinett Jr. (born December 25, 1951) is a designer of interactive computer graphics software, notable as the developer of the Atari 2600's Adventure and as a founder of The Learning Company, where he designed Rocky's Boots and Robot Odyssey. More recently he has worked on virtual reality projects.
Warren Robinett is a pioneer of computer graphics and VR, who designed the first action-adventure game, the first glove-based VR system, and the nano-manipulator. He also co-founded a software company, invented a memristor circuit, and taught math with games.
