Wilhelm von Opel (15 May 1871 – 2 May 1948), known as Wilhelm Opel before being ennobled in 1917, was one of the founders of the German automobile manufacturer Opel. He introduced the assembly line to the German automobile industry.
Wilhelm Albert Opel (a partir de 1917 von Opel; Rüsselsheim, 15 de maio de 1871 — Wiesbaden, 2 de maio de 1948) foi um empresário alemão. Foi um dos proprietários da Opel . Na década de 1920 introduziu com o Opel 4 PS a linha de produção na indústria automobilística alemã.

Seine Eltern sind Adam und Sophie Opel. Sein Vater gründete 1862 in Rüsselsheim eine Fabrik für Nähmaschinen, die später auch Fahrräder herstellte.
