Ahmet Ertegun (/ ˈ ɑː m ɛ t ˈ ɛər t ə ɡ ən / AH-met AIR-tə-gən; Turkish: Ahmet Zahrettin Sebuhi Ertegün, pronounced [ahˈmet eɾteˈɟyn]; July 31, 1923 – December 14, 2006) was a Turkish-American businessman, songwriter, record executive and philanthropist.

Ertegun foi o co-fundador e presidente da Atlantic Records. Ele descobriu e defendeu muitos dos principais músicos de rhythm and blues e rock.
One of the most significant figures in the modern recording industry. Ahmet Ertegun co-founded Atlantic Records in 1947 with partner Herb Abramson. He was also a co-founder of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
