Nicola Glencross was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland and graduated from the University of Glasgow with a Bachelor of Arts and obtained her Master's degree from the University of Edinburgh; her Master's dissertation was on the subject of women's wrestling.
Early career
In September 2008, Glencross made her professional wrestling debut with the Scottish Wrestling Alliance. She initially performed under the ring name "Nikki Storm", a name given to her by then-SWA ring announcer Marty Michaels, inspired by the X Men character Storm. In February 2010, she began working on the British independent circuit, and became a mainstay for promotions such as her debuting at the Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW), and Pro-Wrestling: EVE, where she held the Pro-Wrestling:...
In 2019, Glencross married her long-time boyfriend and former Sanity stablemate, Damian Mackle, better known as Killian Dain. In 2023, she graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a master's degree in history.
