  1. Conchita Martínez Bernat (born 16 April 1972) is a Spanish former professional tennis player and coach. She was the first Spaniard to win the women's singles title at Wimbledon, doing so in 1994. Martínez also was the runner-up at the 1998 Australian Open and the 2000 French Open.
