Yūsaku Matsuda (松田 優作, Matsuda Yūsaku, September 21, 1949 – November 6, 1989) was a Japanese actor. In Japan, he was best known for roles in action films and a variety of television series in the 1970s as well as a switch to a wider range of roles in the 1980s.
Actor: The Family Game. Yusaku Matsuda was born in Shimonoseki, Japan. In 1966, he visited his aunt in the U.S., where he lived for 1 year. After coming back to Japan, he started acting at a theatrical company. Since making his debut as a film actor in 1973, he appeared on various TV series & movies until his death.

Yūsaku Matsuda was a Japanese actor. He was born in Shimonoseki, to a Japanese father and a Zainichi Korean mother. He became an actor when he was 23 as a rookie police officer for the 1970s Japanese TV detective drama called Taiyō ni hoero! Apart from this role, his other defining role on television was in Tantei monogatari.
