Palmer was born in Tai Tapu, New Zealand to parents Tony Palmer and Janine Morrell-Gunn, both of whom are television producers.
Grace Palmer is a New Zealand-born actress, writer, and creator, known for Good Grief, Adrift, and Kura. She has also appeared in Shortland Street, The Brokenwood Mysteries, and Animal Control.
