Isabel Sanford (born Eloise Gwendolyn Sanford; August 29, 1917 – July 9, 2004) was an American stage, film, and television actress and comedian best known for her role as Louise "Weezy" Mills Jefferson on the CBS sitcoms All in the Family (1971–1975) and The Jeffersons (1975–1985).
Isabel Sanford was a Broadway actress for over thirty years before moving to Hollywood. She made numerous guest appearances on TV, including a stint as a supporting cast member on The Carol Burnett Show (1967).

The actress, who played Louise 'Weezie' Jefferson on the popular sitcom, was the first black woman to win an Emmy for Best Actress in a Comedy Series. She died of natural causes in Los Angeles in 2004, after undergoing neck surgery.
