Fred Terry (9 November 1863 – 17 April 1933) was an English actor and theatrical manager. After establishing his reputation in London and in the provinces for a decade, he joined the company of Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree where he remained for four years, meeting his future wife, Julia Neilson.

Fred Terry as Sir Percy Blakeney/ The Scarlet Pimpernel in the 1905 West End theatre production. In 1792, an early stage of the French Revolution, Marguerite St. Just, a beautiful French actress, is married to wealthy English fop Sir Percy Blakeney, baronet.
Fred’s most popular role was as Sir Percy Blakeney in the Baroness Orczy’s The Scarlet Pimpernel, but in one of the cards here, we see him in an equally well-known part as Charles II in Sweet Nell of Old Drury.
