Tsuru Aoki (青木 鶴子, Aoki Tsuruko, September 9, 1892 – October 18, 1961) was a Japanese stage and screen actress whose career was most prolific in the United States during the silent film era of the 1910s through the 1920s.
Tsuru Aoki (1892-1961) was one of the first Asian leading ladies in Hollywood, starring in films by Thomas H. Ince and Sessue Hayakawa, whom she married in 1914. She retired from acting in 1924 and died in Tokyo in 1961.
