- About MCS
Magdalen College is committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive community, maintaining and promoting excellence in teaching and research, and contributing to the wider public good.
Magdalen College School (MCS) is a private day school in the English public school tradition located in Oxford, England, for boys aged seven to eighteen and for girls in the sixth form (i.e. ages sixteen to eighteen).
Magdalen is currently home to around 400 undergraduate students, 200 graduate students, lots of friendly Fellows and staff, and a herd of deer. That might sound a lot, but the brilliant thing about having such a large College is that there is plenty of space for everyone.
It is a lively college with an active and inclusive undergraduate body of about 400 students, who can live in college accommodation for the whole of their course. Alongside its tradition of academic excellence, Magdalen ensures that its students are well supported.
