  4. Boston is an American rock band formed in 1975 in Boston, Massachusetts, by multi-instrumentalist Tom Scholz, who was joined by vocalist Brad Delp, guitarist Barry Goudreau, bassist Fran Sheehan and drummer Jim Masdea (who was replaced by Sib Hashian).
