Berner High School opened in January 1962 as a junior high school under principal Donald Woodworth. Half of that year's 9th and 10th grade students attending Massapequa High School were assigned to Berner High School for the 1962–1963 school year and the school's enrollment peaked in the early 1970s.

10 de jul. de 2021 · The A.G. Berner HS Class of 1972 reunion committee is happy to announce that we have been able to book a venue to celebrate our 50th reunion. The reunion will take place on June 10, 2022 from 5-9 pm at Captain Bill's in Bayshore, NY. They are offering a fabulous Buffet dinner with a cash bar.
