Rainou of Sabran (c. 1155 – 1224) (also Rainon II or Rénier II) was the Count of Forcalquier, Lord of Caylar and Ansouis, and a member of the noble House of Sabran. His father was Rostaing of Sabran and his mother was Rosca of Uzès.
Garsenda was the daughter of Rainou (or Rénier), lord of Caylar and Ansouis of the House of Sabran, and Garsenda, daughter of William IV of Forcalquier. She was named after her mother, who was the heiress of William IV, but predeceased him.

William's daughter Garsenda, who married Rainou of Sabran, Lord of Caylar and Ansouis, predeceased him so his granddaughter of the same name inherited his county at the age of 13.
When Raines de Cailor was born in 1154, in Sabran, Gard, Languedoc-Roussillon, France, his father, Rostaing Cailar or de Sabran, was 30 and his mother, Rose du Cailar D' Uzes, was 26. He married Beatrix D'Uzes about 1127, in France. He died in 1224, in his hometown, at the age of 70.
