15 de jun. de 2020 · Erlend was a much-loved presence on stage, and for a band who had prided themselves on creating a killer live show, Kvelertak knew that whoever replaced their singer had to fit quickly and seamlessly into their mould. Luckily, they happened to have just the chap in mind. Enter: Ivar Nikolaisen.
The group comprises vocalist Ivar Nikolaisen, guitarists Vidar Landa, Bjarte Lund Rolland and Maciek Ofstad, bassist Marvin Nygaard and drummer Håvard Takle Ohr. Founding member and lead singer Erlend Hjelvik left the group in 2018, being replaced by Ivar Nikolaisen.
Ivar Nikolaisen (født 1978 på Moi) er en norsk rockevokalist. Han er vokalist i punkbandet The Good The Bad and The Zugly og tok i juli 2018 over som vokalist i hardcore/metal-bandet Kvelertak. Han har tidligere vært medlem av punkbandene Silver og Happy Dagger og thrashbandet Absurd2.
12 de nov. de 2020 · Immediately, they reached out to their friend Ivar Nikolaisen, who had performed in the relatively popular Norwegian band Silver and guested on the song Blodtørst from Kvelartek’s self-titled 2010 debut. “Ivar was the first and only person we asked,” Landa says.
