Andy Newmark: Drums. Three years had passed since the release of "Cover", during which Verlaine lived in England, Portugal and France as well as the U.S., and some of the songs on "Flashlight were written here. In fact, when the album was first released it was only available in the U.S. on import.
Andrew Newmark (born July 14, 1950) is an American session drummer who was a member of Sly and the Family Stone and has played with George Harrison, John Lennon, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Carly Simon, Ron Wood and Roxy Music.

31 de mai. de 2019 · Tom Verlaine - Flash Light Demos - Dave Bascombe Sessions (Flac) Thanks to Dave Sez from sending me these sessions to post here. Sometime in 1986 or early 1987 Verlaine and Dave Bascombe produced at least 10 tracks intended for an LP that was shortly thereafter rejected by Phonogram/Fontana.
