11 de fev. de 2019 · Blue Weaver left after one more tour, while Hudson and Ford exited to form Hudson-Ford, also signed to A&M. The Strawbs regrouped in 1974 with Hero and Heroine, recorded with a new lineup consisting of Cousins, Lambert, keyboardist John Hawken, bassist Chas Cronk, and drummer Rod Coombes.

Halcyon Days is a very welcome release, offering an opportunity to sample the riches of the Strawbs back catalogue in CD format. Those involved in choosing the tracks have done a nice job, selecting a range of material from the full range of the Strawbs' A&M history.

The Very Best of the Strawbs: Halcyon Days is a compilation album by English band Strawbs. Although credited to Strawbs it does contain three Hudson Ford tracks and a Dave Cousins solo track (taken from his album Two Weeks Last Summer). The album was released as a 2-CD set in the UK and US.
