We are very proud of our flourishing Sixth Form which year-on-year, has seen excellent results and students moving on to top universities or highly skilled apprenticeships. At Northampton Academy, our Sixth Formers have exclusive use of our £1million state-of-the-art Sixth Form Centre.
Northampton Academy is a mixed secondary school and sixth form in Northampton, Northamptonshire for students aged 11 to 18. Since September 2004, it has been an Academy, part of United Learning, a subsidiary of the United Church Schools Trust (UCST).

Our normal admission year is Year 7, when we admit students from a wide range of primary schools. Applications for admission are made via the Northamptonshire Co-ordinated Admissions scheme. Where there are more applications than the number of places available, a waiting list will operate until 31st December. The list will be kept in strict order according to the oversubscription admissions criteria. We participate in the Local Authority Co-ordinated Scheme for In Year admissions and operate a waiting list for admissions in years 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11. If a space becomes available, spaces are allocated according to our over subscription admissions criteria, from the waiting list.
