Close Your Eyes is an American melodic hardcore band from Abilene, Texas . Signed to Victory Records, the group released its debut album, We Will Overcome, in 2010, and a second album Empty Hands and Heavy Hearts, the following year. The third album, Line in the Sand, was released in 2013.

After more line-up changes and a relocation to Colorado, It Prevails announced the addition of guitarist Bobby VaLeu and drummer Ian Clark. They also announced the release of a three-track EP, Findings, and their summer tour with Close Your Eyes. Followed up with a UK and mainland European tour with Heart in Hand. [citation needed]
