George Tailboys (c. 1523 – c. 6 September 1540 [1]) was the eldest son of Elizabeth Blount and Gilbert Tailboys, 1st Baron Tailboys of Kyme. Through his mother he was the half brother of Henry FitzRoy, 1st Duke of Richmond and Somerset, who was the only illegitimate offspring acknowledged by Henry VIII, King of England.
Eldest surviving son of Elizabeth Blount and Gilbert Talboys. First Baron Talboys of Kyme, his birth date is unknown, as is the date or year of his parent's marriage. On 25 Mar 1539, George was stated to have been sixteen years old. This would mean that he was born between Apr 1522 and Mar 1523.

George was the eldest son of Gilbert Tailboys, 1st Baron Tailboys of Kyme. He succeeded to the title upon his father's death, making him the 2nd Baron Tailboys of Kyme. I've searched for Kyme Manor but have yet to find such a place. Titles are granted in England by Geographic or Family names.
