The Crane Center for Early Childhood Research and Policy is a multidisciplinary research center dedicated to conducting high-quality research that improves children’s learning and development at home, in school and in the community.
We provide education to children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old, the most critical period of a person’s life, through year-round, all-day programming and home visiting. By providing accessible care to families, we reduce financial and professional barriers to overcoming poverty.
Our early learning centers are the cornerstone of the work we do. We serve children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years at our five child care facilities in the Near East and Linden neighborhoods of Columbus.
