20 de nov. de 2022 · Lead singer Johnny Jones and original founding member, bass player Ralph Oakley, both attended Dudley Grammar School and when Oakley left, his place was taken by Jake Elcock whose father had been drummer with the Art Baker Quartet who had a residency at the Queen Mary Ballroom.
In 1967 Jake Elcock joined the group from Finders Keepers and Graham Hollis became the drummer. In 1969 the group underwent a fundamental personnel change when Johnny Jones and Terry Rowley joined the original five-piece Trapeze.
