31 de jan. de 2022 · It is entirely possible that the most illuminating element of this package is the band’s own list of 18 Rhino “big ones,” which includes the dBs, Mott the Hoople, a power pop compilation, a punk compilation, two Todd Rundgren albums, two Monkees discs, John Cale, and the Zombies.
The Best of Dramarama: 18 Big Ones [Elektra Traditions, 1996] Imagine John Easdale as a cross between Richard Butler (P-Furs, fame fades) and Elliott Murphy (referenced in the notes, best on his 1973 debut Aquashow ), only (a) a fan first and (b) less rich than either.
The band's final release on Elektra, 1993's Hi-Fi Sci-Fi, was a favorite among both critics and fans, and it remains a cult staple. Clem Burke, who had joined the band for the Vinyl tour, appears on this album, and backing vocal contributions include Dwight Twilley and Sylvain Sylvain. After the tours, the group split. 1995–2005
