Buck's Rock Performing and Creative Arts Camp is an educational summer camp located in New Milford, Connecticut. The camp was established in 1942 by Dr. Ernst Bulova and his wife Ilse, Austrian educators who had studied under Maria Montessori .
Buck's Rock was founded by Dr. Ernst Bulova and his wife Ilse, Austrian educators and refugees from Nazi Germany. Ilse studied under famed educator Maria Montessori, and Ernst and Ilse went on to adapt her educational philosophy to their own vision.

Every day at Buck’s Rock is a new opportunity for self-discovery and creative expression. From the professionally-equipped studios and exciting performance spaces, to the state-of-the-art recording facilities and pool, campers are free to try anything and everything!
Weekly laundry service, shop materials, transportation and admission for field trips, and bunk parties. Please note, additional tuition insurance is automatically added. Buck's Rock Camp is operating with a tiered tuition system. The tuition due for your camper (s) is based upon your household size and gross combined annual income.
