  1. Rory O'Donnell, 1st Earl of Tyrconnell (Irish: Ruaidrí Ó Domhnaill, 1d Iarla na Tír Chonaill; 1575 – 28 July 1608), was an Irish Gaelic lord, the last King of Tyrconnell. He was a younger brother of Hugh Roe O'Donnell and became the 1st Earl of Tyrconnell.

The second son of the chief of the O'Donnells, Rory joined his brother Hugh Roe and Tyrone in rebellion against Elizabeth from 1598 until 1602. After the disaster at Kinsale, Hugh Roe fled to Spain and died in September 1602.
