Getz/Gilberto é um álbum de jazz e bossa nova lançado em 1964 pelo violonista brasileiro João Gilberto e pelo saxofonista estadunidense Stan Getz, com participação especial de Tom Jobim no piano e Astrud Gilberto nos vocais de algumas faixas.
Getz/Gilberto is an album by American saxophonist Stan Getz and Brazilian guitarist João Gilberto, featuring pianist and composer Antônio Carlos Jobim (Tom Jobim), who also composed many of the tracks. It was released in March 1964 by Verve Records.
Recorded in March 1963, “Getz/Gilberto” was a true summit meeting featuring Getz on tenor sax, Antonio Carlos Jobim on piano and João Gilberto on guitar and Portuguese vocals. They were accompanied by two other Brazilians, bassist Sebastião Neto and drummer Milton Banana.
