Derek Drymon (born November 19, 1968) is an American animator, writer, storyboard artist, director, comedian, and producer. He has worked on numerous animated cartoon productions.

Drymon was discovered by Nickelodeon in 1993. He moved to California to work as a storyboard artist for the network. Derek Drymon's new show Diggs Tailwagger, was given a green light in 2007, but it never made it to fruition. Drymon worked as a storyboard artist for DreamWorks Animation and an animation director for marketing at Illumination Entertainment, he also worked at Laika.
He co-directed Hotel Transylvania: Transformaniafor Sony Pictures Animation alongside Jennifer Kluska.
Derek Drymon is a writer and creator of the popular animated series SpongeBob SquarePants. He was born in 1968 in New Jersey and has worked on various other projects, such as Underwater, CatDog and Kung Fu Panda.
