Rian Dawson. Robert Rian Dawson was born on December 18, 1987 (age 33) in Baltimore, Maryland. His mom is named Kathi and his step dad is named Denis. He has an older brother named Chase. He now plays drums for the band, and can also play the piano and guitar.
Consisting of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Alex Gaskarth, lead guitarist Jack Barakat, bassist/backing vocalist Zack Merrick, and drummer Rian Dawson, the band took its name from lyrics in the song "Head on Collision" by New Found Glory.
For Dirty Work, All Time Low – featuring Gaskarth, Dawson, lead guitarist Jack Barakat, bassist Zack Merrick – teamed up with some of rock's most in-demand producers and studio aces, including Mike Green (Paramore, Boys Like Girls) and Butch Walker (Pink, Dashboard Confessional).
