Sir Oswald Mosley, 5th Baronet (29 December 1873 – 21 September 1928), was a British Army officer, aristocrat, amateur sportsman, and the father of Oswald Mosley, leader of the British Union of Fascists (BUF). His interests were in shooting, boxing, and motor-racing.

Mosley was born on 16 November 1896 at 47 Hill Street, Mayfair, London. [9] He was the eldest of the three sons of Sir Oswald Mosley, 5th Baronet (1873–1928), and Katharine Maud Edwards-Heathcote (1874–1950), [10] daughter of Captain Justinian Edwards-Heathcote, of Apedale Hall, Staffordshire.
