The Lincoln School of Nursing The Lincoln School for Nurses in the Bronx originated in 1899 as part of the privately funded "Lincoln Hospital and Home," and in 1900 graduated its first class of six. In 1905 the school was registered by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York and in 1909 graduated its first three-year class.
