Chicago-Kent College of Law is the law school of the Illinois Institute of Technology, a private research university in Chicago, Illinois. It is the second oldest law school in the state of Illinois. Chicago-Kent was founded in 1888 by Justice Joseph M. Bailey.
Illinois Institute of Technology (Chicago-Kent) is ranked No. 108 (tie) out of 196 in Best Law Schools and No. 20 (tie) out of 68 in Part-time Law.
Chicago-Kent is one of only three law schools in Chicago to be recognized on the scholarly impact ranking. We offer specialized studies through 12 J.D. certificate programs, including our intellectual property and labor and employment law programs, both considered among the best in the nation.
