The Commonwealth School, often referred to simply as Commonwealth, is a private, co-educational high school of about 150 students and 35 faculty members located in the downtown Back Bay neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts, United States.
Commonwealth School educates young people from diverse backgrounds to become knowledgeable, thoughtful, and creative adults, capable of careful analysis, fruitful cooperation, responsible leadership, and deep commitment.
Beginning this school year (2024-25), the District's transportation department will no longer mail bus route information to families' homes. Transportation eligible families will now receive their child's bus routing information through the Parent Portal.
We offer a safe school with rigorous curriculum, delivered by a dedicated group of caring teachers, and designed to prepare our students for the demands of high school and college. In addition to core classes, CCA-Dana Ave. scholars participate in advisory classes, electives and enrichment periods.
