Charles, Margrave of Burgau, also known as Charles of Austria, (22 November 1560 at Křivoklát Castle in Bohemia – 30 October 1618 in Überlingen), was the son of Archduke Ferdinand II of Austria and his first morganatic marriage to Philippine Welser.

The Habsburgs usually had the margraviate administered by a civil servant (Landvogt) stationed in Günzburg. However, this bailiff's lodge became a residence between 1609 and 1618: Margrave Karl of Burgau (1560-1618) took up a personal government there.

Le margrave Charles de Burgau (né le 22 novembre 1560 au château de Křivoklát (Bohême) ; † 30 octobre 1618 à Überlingen [2]), est le fils de l'archiduc Ferdinand d'Autriche et de Philippine Welser. Il est le frère d’André d'Autriche.
