- Who We Are
The Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY) is a gifted education program for school-age children founded in 1979 by psychologist Julian Stanley at Johns Hopkins University.
As the country’s first academic talent center, Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Talented Youth (CTY) supports and advocates for advanced learners like you.
CTY offers on-campus and online courses for students in grades 2-12 who love learning and want to challenge themselves. Explore subjects like STEM, humanities, space colonization, and more with expert instructors and peers from around the world.
Tests and Testing. Identifying your child’s unique talents through testing with our Talent Search is the first step toward matching them with an appropriate challenge. We offer a range of tests to fit your needs and learning goals.
